Peer Leader Program

FASTrack Peer Leaders

FASTrack Peer Leaders are an important part of the FASTrack experience! They guide FASTrack students through common challenges, helping them become familiar with the University of Mississippi academic resources, campus life, and student services.

During the fall semester, FASTrack Peer Leaders are assigned to sections of EDHE 105, becoming student leaders to 20 first-year students in the program. Throughout the semester, peer leaders are expected to attend their EDHE 105 section every week. They assist the instructor with lessons and share their own student perspective with the class. Peer leaders also help coordinate various social activities throughout the semester, helping to further build the FASTrack community.
