Peer Mentors
Who are Peer Mentors?
These students guide FASTrack students through common challenges, helping them become familiar with the University of Mississippi academic resources, campus life, and student services. During the fall semester, peer mentors are assigned to sections of EDHE 105, becoming student leaders to 20 first-year students in the program. Throughout the semester, peer mentors are expected to attend their EDHE 105 section every week. They assist the instructor with lessons and share their own student perspective with the class. Peer mentors also help coordinate various social activities throughout the semester, helping to further build the FASTrack community.
We are excited to announce that our 2025 FASTrack Peer Mentor application is open!
Applicants will fill out the required application and, if selected, will participate in an interview process with the FASTrack staff. *Applications are due by 5:00 pm on Friday, February 7, 2025.*
