Orientation Advising

Plan to attend our FASTrack Orientation Advising Session

  • On Day 2 of your orientation session, you will attend your Academic School Meeting dependent upon your major beginning at 8:25 am for a general academic school/college overview.
  • An orientation leader will escort all FASTrack students from their Academic School Meeting to the FASTrack orientation advising lab located in the J.D. Williams Library for course advising and registration. This will begin at 9:30 am.

How should I prepare for FASTrack Advising?

We help you register for classes! FASTrack students are placed into cohorts during the fall semester. FASTrack classes include an EDHE 105: The Freshmen Year Experience (on Tuesdays and Thursdays) and at least one other course chosen from First-Year Writing or Collegiate Writing, African American Studies, Public Speaking, Psychology, Sociology, or U.S. History. FASTrack students will take general education and major course requirements to maintain full time schedules. For more information regarding our classes, click here
